The name Sterling reflects our commitment to the highest standards — excellence, integrity, and value that stand the test of time. At Sterling International Academy, these ideals are more than words; they form the foundation of everything we do. Since our founding in 2015, we have created an environment where academic excellence meets character development, and every learner is empowered to reach their full potential.
Approved by the Federal Ministry of Education, Sterling International Academy is an educational institution offering the Nigerian-British curriculum. Over the years, our pupils have consistently excelled in the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE).
For our first 10 years, we specialized in Nursery and Primary education, carving a niche and building goodwill through quality learning experiences. In 2025, we expanded to include Junior Secondary School (JSS 1), marking a new chapter in our growth as a learning community where academic achievement goes hand in hand with moral integrity.
Our rich extra-curricular programs help learners build confidence, strengthen public speaking, develop leadership skills, and enhance their learning abilities. Activities include debating, creative writing, journalism, drama, and sports such as karate, badminton, and chess.
We believe in learning beyond the classroom. Educational trips to museums, zoos, historic landmarks, and government institutions broaden our pupils’ perspectives and create lasting memories.
Sterling offers a warm, family-friendly atmosphere cherished by parents, pupils, staff, and friends. To foster friendships and community spirit, we host open days, club days, and other engaging events.
Our pupils have proudly represented us in the National English Tournament (NET), National Mathematics Tournament (NMT), SPEECH Science Spelling Competition, and SPELL Africa International Spelling Competition—where four emerged as state-level winners.
